What we collect

• Email alerts: your email address, stored only after you click the confirmation link. Seller country and product categories are optional and are used only to filter alerts. They are held by our email provider, Resend.
• Kit purchases: Polar collects your name, email, billing details and payment information as merchant of record. We receive the order details (such as your email and what you bought) so we can support you. We never see your full card number.
• Sponsor payments: PayPal processes sponsor subscriptions. We receive the subscriber's business contact and subscription reference.
• Emails you send us: kept to answer you.
• Link clicks: /go/ links count clicks by service and date on the server. No cookie, name, email or address is stored.
• Hosting: the site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request logs.
• Analytics: Vercel Web Analytics counts page views on this site. It does not use cookies. A visit is identified by a hash created from the request, and that hash resets after 24 hours. The stored figures are aggregated, including the page, referrer, browser, operating system, and location. It does not collect your name or email.

How we use it: to send the alerts you asked for, deliver and support purchases, run the sponsor slot, understand which pages are read, and answer messages. We don't sell personal information.

How long we keep it: alert addresses until you unsubscribe (we keep a suppression record so you aren't emailed again); order and support records as long as the law requires. The analytics visitor hash resets after 24 hours.

Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to its use, by emailing info@opengro.com. You may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) or your local data protection authority.
